According to Central Statistics Office of Ireland, the population of Ireland in April, 2006 was estimated at 4.235 million peole. It is projected to grow to around 5.5 million by 2030. Ireland's economy is growing at a rate of 5% per year. Ireland has the most helicopters per capita of any country in Europe, and twice as many millionaires per capita as the United States.
