Medieval Style Door Hanging

I recently built a front door for the house with reclaimed oak planks from the roof which came down this summer. I didn't want to drill holes into the stone wall of the house for hinges: not only is it really old, it also isn't exactly a straight edge to hinge into.
Instead, I hung to door the old way: anchor the door in the bottom and top of the door frame.
